The annual Tellico River Delayed Harvest section will be opening again this October (see flyer below). This is some of the best fishing that this area has to offer. Since it is artificial only and catch and release only, it lends itself perfectly to fly fishing. It runs all the way into March which also makes it a perfect winter fishery. It certainly keeps you from catching the dreaded Cabin Fever during the winter months.
This is one of our busiest times of year for guiding, so if you are interested in giving this a try, be sure and book early.
